Join us for a full-day workshop on the essentials of Lifestyle & Nutritional Psychiatry, a collaborative event featuring world-leading researchers and clinicians from the Food & Mood Centre at Deakin University, the British Society for Lifestyle Medicine, and a panel of invited experts.

Following the success of last year’s event in London, BSLM & Deakin University’s Food & Mood Academy are teaming up again to bring this event to Edinburgh. This full day, collaborative, in-person event highlighting the critical role of lifestyle (particularly diet) in mental and brain health will be followed up by a practical online session to “Review, Reflect & Reset”, ensuring successful application of the learning.

Join us for a one-day, in-person collaborative masterclass exploring the latest evidence in Nutritional Psychiatry, including the impact of diet and the gut on brain function and mental health, and practical strategies for real-world implementation.

Led by world-leading researchers and clinicians, including Distinguished Professor Felice Jacka, OAM, this immersive workshop will equip healthcare professionals with:

  • The latest research in Nutritional Psychiatry
  • Insights into the gut–brain axis and its relevance to mental health
  • Evidence-based dietary and lifestyle interventions
  • Practical tools to integrate these approaches into clinical care
  • Structured goal-setting to support meaningful change in practice

The British Society of Lifestyle Medicine is a community of healthcare professionals and patients, committed to a new approach to healthcare, based on the emerging discipline of Lifestyle Medicine.
